Primolatte has been developed to support orphaned foals, the offspring of dams that produce inadequate milk, or foals of weaning age. It helps mitigate against deficiencies and dietary imbalances that can cause developmental orthopaedic diseases (DODs).
Primolatte is characterised by a very high biological value (Lysine 1.9%) and by its complete digestibility in nursing foals. These characteristics make it the ideal feed for foals and it can be fed from 3 weeks of age. Primolatte aims to mitigate the mineral and vitamin deficiencies that cause the most common DODs. Foals fed Primolatte continue to develop during and after weaning because they are not subject to any stressful changes in diet or dietary deficiencies. The inclusion of Primolatte in the diets of young foals supports regular development and prevents the compensatory growth that causes DODs.

ORPHAN FOALS: During the first three weeks of life, feed foals with Nanut Foal, reconstituted milk in a liquid state only. From the fourth week, dissolve Primolatte pellets in the reconstituted milk: 50 g per litre of milk. From the fifth week, continue the liquid diet, leaving Primolatte available according to the quantities indicated in the table below. Adding 10% of Nanut Foal powder to the Primolatte pellets facilitates the switch to a solid diet.
CREEP FEEDING: Primolatte can be administered up to one year of age. Alternatively, 3 months after weaning, it is possible to switch to a diet of hay, cereals and Aminofeed.
