Kirsty has many years of experience working in the equine industry, having first worked as a lead equine nurse at an equine referral hospital at the Curragh, and more recently as a nutritional manager at an equine supplement business. She leads the team of ARKequine experts to advise, educate and support the equine community in ROI and the UK.

Charmaine brings over 17 years of experience in the equine feed industry and a lifelong passion for the racing and breeding sector.
As a former Champion Irish Lady Amateur Jockey (1997/98), she achieved notable success riding winners for renowned trainers including Aidan O’Brien, Paddy Mullins, and Dessie Hughes. Charmaine also represented Ireland in the prestigious Fegentri series, where she secured a double win in Vienna, and completed the Mongol Derby in 2018.

John has been a practising vet for over 25 years, working in all parts of Ireland and the UK. He started out as a purely equine vet but over the years has worked extensively with all domestic species, both large and small. An interest in preventative medicine and nutrition led to his current role with ARKequine, helping to advise on the veterinary best practice in equine nutrition.

Ian has recently transitioned from clinical practice where he has spent the best part of 12 years. Having grown up breeding and competing horses, he brings with him a wealth of experience to the ARKequine team.

Lucy is a qualified veterinary surgeon and has been working for many years as a technical specialist in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry in the UK and ROI. She is the technical lead at ARKequine and is experienced at advising and guiding vets and veterinary practitioners on a range of animal healthcare issues.
