Carniton B12 has a beneficial effect on the condition of skeletal and heart muscle and promotes the energetic use of lipids during prolonged physical exercise.
In sport horses, it supports high performance, particularly in cases of prolonged and intense muscular exertion. In stallions, it increases resistance to fatigue during the mating season. In young stock it supports the appetite and muscle function.
L-Carnitine, transports long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria where they are oxidised to produce large quantities of energy (ß oxidation) without accumulating lactic acid. Vitamin B12 is essential for the synthesis of nucleic acids, purines, choline, lipids and carbohydrates. It promotes haemoglobin synthesis and has a potent anti-anaemia activity. It supports reproductive processes, muscle tone, the appetite and the growth and development of young stock. L-Lysine, an essential amino acid that is not synthesised by the body, is required in high quantities during all phases of considerable growth.
Carniton B12 is available in 100G Syringe (oral paste) and 20 x 25G (granules).
