Key indicators & metrics:-
- Water hardness
- pH levels
- Oxidative Reductive Potential (ORP)
- Chlorine concentration (both total and free levels)
- Levels of E. coli and total Coliforms
The water review also looks at the potential presence of biofilm in your water supply. Biofilm is a collection of one or more types of microorganisms that can grow on many different surfaces and accumulate within water systems. If present in sufficient numbers, Biofilm can result in significant health issues for your horse(s).
